Tim Mitchell is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over twenty years of experience in the construction and engineering sectors. He is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Mr. Mitchell has acted as a quantum expert in several UK adjudications and as lead assistant in international arbitrations. In addition, he advises contractor and owner organisations in relation to cost, procurement, commercial management, dispute avoidance and conflict resolution.
Mr. Mitchell has worked for international engineering and construction companies, consultancies and client organisations on projects in Europe, Asia, South America and Australia. His project experience includes commercial, residential, sports facilities, airports, roads, rail, bridges, viaducts, pipelines (onshore and offshore), FPUs, FPSO and processing plants. He has worked under a range of procurement methods, including construct only, design–build, alliancing, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and EPC management (EPCM), using standard (JCT, NEC and FIDIC) and bespoke forms of contracts.
