TCPA: What's New, Noteworthy, and Next

Webinar

October 29, 2020

Although courts across the country face challenges and have experienced delays and slowdowns in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the last several months have brought prominent, interesting, and sometimes perplexing decisions in TCPA cases. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has issued one significant ruling in a case challenging the constitutionality of the TCPA and soon will hear argument in another concerning the scope and interpretation of the statute.

BRG and K&L Gates hosted an interactive webinar to make sense of what’s new, noteworthy, and next in TCPA class actions. Topics included:

  • Recent activity and trends
  • Noteworthy new filings and settlements
  • Regulatory developments
  • How COVID is affecting TCPA litigation
  • What is at stake and what to expect from Facebook v. Duguid

After the presentation, BRG and K&L Gates held a question-and-answer session.

Speakers included BRG’s David Kalat and Molly McGinley and Joseph C. Wylie II from K&L Gates.
