Webinar

December 7, 2022

Rich Finkelman and BRG’s Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) team presented on “Artificial Intelligence and Ethics” for Duke Energy. This class covered basic knowledge about AI, present-day challenges, and how AI and ethics issues are already embedded into our daily lives.

The presenters discussed breakdowns and details regarding four key areas of AI and ethics: transparency, justice and fairness, responsibility and accountability, and privacy. They looked at each area from the perspective of the current state of ethics guidelines, challenges faced, and potential legal implications. They closed with a discussion about the future of AI and ethics and considerations for how guidelines can be implemented.
