BRG Strengthens Cyber and Forensic Technology Capabilities in APAC and EMEA

BRG has announced the appointment of two senior hires in the firm’s Cyber and Forensic Technology practice in Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Irfan Ali Walji joins as an associate director based in Dubai and Winston Young as a Business Development director based in Hong Kong.
Mr. Ali Walji has over thirteen years of experience in eDiscovery, legal operations and project management. He has led forensic technology matters in international litigation, arbitration and regulatory investigations. Throughout his career, he has played key roles in establishing and expanding eDiscovery practices for leading global law firms.
Mr. Young brings a decade of experience in cybersecurity, data privacy, forensic investigations and technology consulting across APAC. He advises law firms, regulators and in-house counsel to connect them with expert teams on complex disputes, investigations and regulatory matters. He also has expertise in blockchain, crypto-assets and digital forensics.

Mr. Ali Walji and Mr. Young are the latest additions to BRG’s growing team of seasoned professionals across the regions. Their appointments follow the arrivals of Dennis Beling and Dorcas Kwan in the Antitrust & Competition practice, along with cybersecurity expert Jay Gomez, in Hong Kong; energy and climate specialist Prabhat Agrawal in Singapore; and construction quantum expert Michael Caddick in Dubai.
