BRG was proud to sponsor the HK45 Cruise on Victoria Harbour to kick off Hong Kong Arbitration Week 2025 and, for the ninth time, the Hong Kong Arbitration Charity Ball After-Party, raising funds for Hong Kong Dignity Institute and 協康會 Heep Hong Society. BRG members in the APAC region attended.
Thomas Fearis moderated a panel offering a “behind-the-scenes” peek into ICC dispute resolution services, featuring insights from the DRS case management team, current ICC YAAF representatives, and court members.
Calvin Qiu spoke on investment treaty arbitration in times of geopolitical shifts and macroeconomic uncertainty; and explored the complex intersection of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) obligations and energy disputes, focusing on the unique challenges they pose for arbitrators, counsel, experts, and stakeholders.
