Suvendu (“Du”) Pal is a managing director in BRG Corporate Finance specializing in performance improvement and corporate transactions.

He has over twenty years of experience in consulting and corporate leaderships roles, supporting companies undergoing organizational and financial restructuring, pursuing strategic transition, and conducting asset and business acquisitions and divestitures.

Mr. Pal has provided expert turnaround and restructuring support to both public and private companies, lenders, corporate boards, and equity sponsors across a diverse range of industries, including the technology, financial services, healthcare, and retail sectors. He has assisted clients both in and out of chapter 11 with liquidity planning and management, strategic and financial planning, enterprise valuation, stakeholder management and communications, and bankruptcy preparation and execution.

Mr. Pal has also served in executive roles at organizations in financial services and technology, during periods of underperformance, unfunded growth, and capital markets disruption. He has been responsible for the development and oversight of liquidity planning processes and infrastructure, helping to bolster access to capital markets, fortify balance sheets, and ensure sustainable performance.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Pal was a principal consultant at a full-service corporate financial advisory firm, where he assisted clients with the planning and execution of corporate transactions, finance transformation projects, and business transition efforts. He previously served in financial management roles at SLM Corporation (“Sallie Mae”), a global investment bank, and a Big Four accounting firm. He teaches a post-graduate course in transaction finance through the Investment Banking Institute.
