Joseph Baxter has twelve years of accounting and finance experience, including eight years of experience providing buy- and sell-side deal assistance to both private equity and strategic investors.

During that time, he has worked on over 100 transactions involving companies generating EBITDA ranging from $1 million to $100 million.

Mr. Baxter is a managing director in BRG’s Transaction Advisory practice based in New York. Specializing in the healthcare industry, his primary focus includes financial analysis (quality of earnings, quality of revenue, working capital, and net debt analysis), technical accounting, and industry research to assist clients through their transaction processes.

Within the healthcare industry, his specific sector experience includes non-for-profit hospitals, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, home health companies, urgent care centers, imaging centers, dialysis centers, pharmaceuticals and life sciences companies, healthcare software and IT companies, medical device manufacturers, behavioral health facilities, healthcare staffing companies, and revenue cycle management companies.

Prior to joining BRG, Mr. Baxter was part of a Big Four healthcare transaction advisory services practice for eight years and before that part of the firm’s healthcare audit practice.
