John Kapioski

John Kapioski, an associate director with BRG’s Health Analytics practice, provides consulting,  analytical, and litigation support services to pharmacies, pharmacy benefit managers, private equity, and their legal counsel, leveraging over 35 years of experience in the healthcare industry. 

 He supports clients and their counsel in government investigations, qui tam litigation, False Claims Act litigation, and contractual disputes and regularly assists in assessing and resolving compliance and regulatory issues. Within the healthcare industry, he has worked with pharmacy benefit managers, retail and mail order pharmacies, long-term care and hospice pharmacies, compounding and infusion pharmacies, and specialty pharmacies.

Mr. Kapioski is a registered pharmacist licensed in multiple states and has extensive experience in pharmacy regulatory and HIPAA compliance, pharmacy practice, PBM operations, pharmacy reimbursement, and Federal Grantee 340B program management. He frequently assists with buy-side diligence activities involving regional pharmacy service providers and provides monitoring and compliance assessment services to both industry clients and various states’ Board of Pharmacy.

Mr. Kapioski combines his 5 years in the consulting industry with decades of experience in various healthcare-related clinical, operational and compliance roles to provide rational, workable, and cost-effective services and solutions to clients and their legal counsel.
