John Hillman has over eleven years of experience as a transaction advisor.

He specializes in financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and maximizing deal value for clients on both the buy- and sell-sides. Mr. Hillman has worked with private and publicly held multinational corporations, private equity groups, and domestic corporations on deals ranging in size from $5 million to $1 billion across a spectrum of industries, with a concentration in business services, consumer products, industrials, and telecommunications, media, and technology (TMT).

Mr. Hillman provides transaction-related quality of earnings and diligence analyses and is adept at evaluating normalized EBITDA, analyzing and establishing working capital targets, and identifying debt-like items critical for effective negotiation in fast-paced transaction processes. He has been involved in over 150 buy- or sell-side transactions, focusing on divestitures within the middle market. Recent divestitures have included companies within the consumer products, TMT, business services, and healthcare spaces and ranging from $500 million to $1 billion.
