Felix Hammeke is an economist with extensive experience in competition litigation and broad expertise in merger control and regulatory investigations.
Felix Hammeke brings deep expertise in economic analysis to complex competition matters, with a particular focus on litigation, in the United Kingdom and Germany. He has supported expert witnesses and acted as an expert in high-profile cases, including standalone and follow-on damages actions before the Competition Appeal Tribunal, UK High Court and German courts. His litigation experience covers payment cards, digital platforms, automotive parts and other sectors.
Beyond litigation, Mr. Hammeke has advised clients in merger control proceedings before the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), including Phase 1 and 2 reviews across sectors such as retail, gaming and student accommodation. He has acted for clients subject to regulatory investigations by the CMA, European Commission and UK Payment Systems Regulator. He has supported clients in designing and responding to regulatory frameworks in sectors including energy, aviation and pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Hammeke holds an MSc in economics (with distinction) from the London School of Economics and a postgraduate diploma in EU competition law from King’s College London. He regularly speaks at industry conferences and has published on topics such as cartel damages, exclusionary conduct and platform economics. He is fluent in English, German and French.
