Daniel (Dan) Galante

Managing Director

Daniel (Dan) Galante has more than twenty-five years of experience and has developed extensive transaction experience serving as an adviser to companies all over the world.

He has been involved with more than 700 buy- or sell-side transactions for over 60 different private equity investors, hedge funds, lenders, and strategic corporate acquirers. The majority of his client engagements have been in the Private Funds area.

Mr. Galante provides transaction related diligence that typically includes a blend of commercial, financial, operational, and tax services combined to utilize the pre-acquisition insights for day-one readiness, 100 day planning and post-acquisition value creation.

He has advised on a number of transactions, including: stand-alone platforms; carve-outs of business segments, product line or facilities – including stand-alone and stranded cost structures with TSA requirements; bankruptcy auction processes; mergers and industry consolidations. Target companies have ranged from start-up to multi-billion dollars in revenue.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Galante was the National Managing Partner of Transaction Services for Grant Thornton, National Practice Leader for Alvarez & Marsal’s Transaction Advisory Group, and Transaction Partner at Ernst & Young.
