Antonio Vieira de Oliveira

Antonio Vieira de Oliveira is an associate director based in BRG’s Buenos Aires office. He has more than twenty-five years of international experience supporting complex projects and international arbitrations across Latin America and Africa, including transportation infrastructure, power generation facilities, oil and gas processing plants, refineries, and water treatment systems. He specializes in forensic schedule analysis, delay assessment, and quantification of time-related impacts and damages.

Mr. Vieira de Oliveira focuses his professional practice on forensic schedule analysis and evaluation of project performance across engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and commissioning phases. He routinely supports owners, contractors, and law firms in disputes involving extensions of time, delays, disruptions, loss of productivity, and time-related damages under EPC, lump sum, public-private partnerships (PPP), and public contracts.
Mr. Vieira de Oliveira has provided expert and forensic support in international arbitration, focusing on retrospective schedule analysis, critical path evaluation, and assessment of causation and responsibility for delays using critical path method (CPM)-based methodologies consistent with AACE RP 29R-03, including Window Analysis and longest path techniques. He bases his work on detailed reviews of baseline and updated schedules, as-built records, progress data, and contemporaneous project documentation.

Mr. Vieira de Oliveira holds a degree in civil engineering with postgraduate studies in project management and business logistics. He is a Certified Cost Professional (CCP) accredited by AACE International. He is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English and has worked in Brazil, Angola, Peru, Colombia, and Argentina.
