Almira Kuzutbayeva is a director with BRG’s EMEA Disputes practice. She helps clients find solutions to high-value international disputes and has worked across industries including mining, energy, natural resources, infrastructure, construction, and technology. She splits her time between London and Eurasia, where she works with local and international contacts in government, the public sector, industry, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

Before joining BRG, Ms. Kuzutbayeva led the Eurasia forensics practice of a Big Four firm, based in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, where she worked on large investments, commercial disputes, and non-contentious infrastructure projects. She helped developed the firm’s highest-performing advisory team in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region.

Ms. Kuzutbayeva also worked with the Kazakhstan Ministry of Justice on a World Bank project to strengthen the justice sector of Kazakhstan. From 2011 until late 2014, Almira worked for an FTSE 100 mining company in London.

Ms. Kuzutbayeva is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
