BRG Welcomes Claire McPherson, CPA, as Associate Director in Global Construction Practice

BRG announced today that Claire McPherson, CPA, has joined the firm’s Global Construction practice as an associate director. She will advise clients on high-stakes construction disputes, forensic investigations, and cost audit matters. 

Ms. McPherson brings fifteen years of experience, having advised public and private clients on technically challenging construction matters across sectors including government contracting, healthcare, environmental remediation, energy, and transportation infrastructure. She specializes in forensic accounting, damages analysis, cost auditing, and support in litigation and arbitration settings. 

“Claire’s background in forensic accounting and financial analysis, combined with her in-depth understanding of the construction industry, will be an immediate asset to our team and to clients navigating demanding technical disputes,” said Dara Hendrix, a managing director in BRG’s Global Construction practice. “Her background in government contracting and track record in construction damages analysis complements the strengths of our group and expands our capabilities.” 

Ms. McPherson has guided clients on large-scale infrastructure and government projects through cost recovery efforts, contract terminations, fraud investigations, and remediation disputes. Her analysis often involves unpacking dense financial records into clear, defensible insights to support high-stakes proceedings in litigation and arbitration.

Ms. McPherson earned a BA in accounting from the University of Washington and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Washington State. She serves on the board of the Puget Sound chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
