Technology has changed how the business and practice of law are conducted. In 2024, legal education, lawyer training, and the roles within the industry will continue to be influenced by evolving technology. Amy Worley shares insights on growth and development in the space:

“Many state bar associations require attorneys to obtain an hour or two of ‘technology’ continuing education per year. In the coming years, attorneys are going to need to become more adept technology users than this requirement would seem to indicate. Clients will expect lawyers to use AI [artificial intelligence] to make their practices more efficient. This means using large language models, AI contracting drafting tools, AI document review tools, and automated workflows will become increasingly ubiquitous.”
