Ron Evans has over twenty years of due diligence experience serving a variety of private equity and strategic clients.

He is a member of BRG’s Corporate Finance/Transaction Advisory Services practice, and has worked on over eight hundred transactions providing buy- and sell-side financial due diligence, synergy validation, carve-out transactions, and finance department integration, and has advised clients with developing balanced scorecards and strategic plans.

Mr. Evans has significant private equity experience and public and private corporate experience. His primary industry expertise includes construction, energy, manufacturing and distribution, transportation, and retail. He has also worked on transactions in a variety of other industries, including media and telecommunications, banking and insurance, and consumer and industrial markets.

Mr. Evans has diverse industry skill combined with a broad range of experience. Specific engagement examples have included advising private equity clients with carve-out transactions to ensure that costs were adequately captured in financial models and services to be provided were clearly defined; buy-side financial due diligence to identify key risks influencing valuation and working capital trends; and advisory in reducing purchase price or renegotiating the terms of a transaction based on results of due diligence. He has also worked on integration projects involving multibillion-dollar transactions, integrating finance departments and updating and developing strategic plans.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Evans was a senior managing director with a global business advisory firm, a director in the Transactions and Restructuring Practice of global professional service company, and a manager in the Transaction Advisory Services Practice of a multinational professional services firm.
