Winston Young

Winston Young is BRG’s Business Development Director – Cyber & Forensic Technology (APAC), based in the firm’s Hong Kong office. He specialises in cybersecurity, forensics, eDiscovery and technology consulting solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. With more than a decade of experience at the intersection of legal technology and professional services, Mr. Young acts as a trusted advisor to law firms, regulators, and in-house counsel navigating complex disputes, investigations and regulatory challenges.

Throughout his career, Mr. Young has worked with clients to identify experts and consultants on cross-border litigation readiness, eDiscovery, data privacy, forensic investigations and emerging risks in blockchain, crypto assets and cybersecurity. He has supported organisations spanning financial services, fintech, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors and technology sectors, consistently delivering tailored solutions under high-stakes and time-critical conditions.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Young held senior business development roles at leading global consultancies and legal technology providers. Trilingual in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, he brings a global mindset with regional expertise. He received a BA from Simon Fraser University (Canada) and has professional certifications in blockchain, cryptocurrency investigations and digital forensics.
