Jose A. (Tony) Santana, CPA/CFF, has twenty years of experience applying accounting, financial, and economic principles to financial investigations and litigation matters.

He specializes in the analysis of complex accounting issues, investigation of alleged frauds, and determination of damages.

Mr. Santana has analyzed a number of accounting-related issues including revenue recognition, adequacy of reserves related to accounts receivable and inventory, and employee stock options. He has also dealt with a wide range of litigation matters including cases involving antitrust, breach of contract, fraud, patent infringement, and lost earnings of both companies and individuals. He has worked in industries including consumer products, high technology, and telecommunications. He has testified in both state and federal court.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Santana held a director-level position with LECG. Previously, he was a partner of Simpson LLP, a firm of certified public accountants specializing in litigation services. He also served as a senior audit officer for California Commerce Bank in Los Angeles.
