Terri Couture’s areas of expertise and professional skills include critical care, infection prevention, quality, patient safety, ambulatory surgery, and hospital leadership and operations.

Ms. Couture has the following experience among key achievements and accomplishments:

• aligned organizational strategies to improve public quality scores to top tier, including CMS Stars and Leapfrog, by collaborating with medical staff and administration
• developed and operationalized new service lines in perioperative department
• opened, licensed, and accredited a new community hospital, including outpatient services and cardiovascular/cardiac surgery service line

Before joining BRG, Ms. Couture was chief operating officer at a hospital where she improved operations and revenue and led the team following a national quality strategy. She provided leadership for implementation of Epic electronic medical records for a large healthcare enterprise. As chief executive officer of an ambulatory surgery center in California, she more than doubled EBITDA and improved operational efficiencies and quality performance.
