Kristen Geissler is a managing director in the BRG Healthcare practice with over thirty years of healthcare experience in direct patient care, hospital administration, and consulting. She provides advisory services focused on quality improvement and case mix for hospitals, health systems, and academic medical centers.

Ms. Geissler helps clients achieve measurable improvements in clinical outcomes through data-driven, sustainable solutions. She specializes in quality measurement and accountability, including quality-based reimbursement, alternative payment methodologies, and pay-for-performance program design. Her expertise also includes clinical documentation, case mix analytics, value-based reimbursement, and risk adjustment methodologies, patient risk stratification, and compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) quality reporting requirements.

Before her consulting career, Ms. Geissler served as director of quality improvement for a health system, and she is also a licensed physical therapist.
