Krishnan Ramadas is a Certified Management Accountant with experience in financial/economic analyses and damages assessment in complex business disputes.
Krishnan Ramadas is a director in BRG’s Dallas office. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) who has almost twenty years of experience in financial/economic analyses and damages assessment in complex business disputes. He has significant expertise in evaluating lost profits, reasonable royalties, and unjust enrichment, among other forms of damages, in a litigation setting. His focus areas include intellectual property matters (e.g., patent, copyright, and trademark infringement cases, as well as trade secret misappropriation), complex commercial litigation (e.g., breach of contract, unfair competition, false advertising), and commercial damages matters (e.g., breach of contract cases).
Mr. Ramadas has also worked on class action lawsuits with an emphasis on evaluating class certification issues and antitrust matters. He has managed cases that have spanned industries including aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, construction, general consumer products, medical devices, pharmaceutical, semiconductors, software, and telecommunications.
Mr. Ramadas has been retained as both a damages expert witness in litigation and a consulting expert to assist in pre-litigation royalty analyses. He has also participated as a damages expert in training workshops for attorneys organized by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) and by individual law firms. Mr. Ramadas serves as a committee co-chair liaison for the American Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Litigation (ABA-IPL) committee. He has also helped develop course materials for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Expert Skills Workshop and has delivered presentations and authored articles on damages.
