John Schlant is an associate director in BRG’s Corporate Finance practice and is based in New York.

He has provided advisory services on behalf of both debtors and creditors in restructuring contexts involving companies in the healthcare, government contracting, gaming, apparel, and other industries.

In both Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructuring processes, Mr. Schlant has provided key decision support to company management, boards of directors, and lenders; interfaced with constituent parties; and facilitated asset sales.

He has managed significant workflows involving financial scenario analysis, bankruptcy recoveries, cash-flow forecasting, valuation, cost rationalization, and profit-margin assessment.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Schlant worked in the Assurance practice of a Big Four firm, focused primarily on clients in the financial services industry.
