Jason Robertson specializes in performance improvement for private equity sponsor-backed companies. He has over ten years of experience in consulting and private equity portfolio company leadership.

Jason Robertson is a director in BRG’s Corporate Finance practice, where he focuses on operational and financial performance improvement for private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. He has led enterprise-wide transformations, operational turnarounds, and supply chain optimization initiatives across industries including industrials, manufacturing, distribution, consumer goods, and retail.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Robertson served as vice president of Transformation for Platinum Equity. While there, he also served as interim vice president of Transformation for Tarter Farm & Equipment, where he led cross-functional initiatives to improve operational efficiency, drive growth in new products and services, enhance manufacturing performance, and strengthen enterprise data and analytics capabilities. He partnered closely with the private equity deal team, portfolio operations team, and company leadership to execute the company’s value creation playbook and support strategic growth initiatives.

Before Platinum Equity, Mr. Robertson was a principal at Kearney, where he led large operations transformation programs for global industrial, manufacturing, and consumer goods companies. His work spanned end-to-end supply chain optimization, post-merger integration, and operational turnaround efforts. He collaborated closely with executive leadership teams to drive sustainable improvements.

Mr. Robertson began his career with USC Consulting Group, advising North American manufacturing companies on 4-walls improvement and driving cost, throughput, and yield improvements.
