Carl Losito is a key member of BRG’s Portfolio Valuation practice, specializing in valuations of alternative investments including private equity, private credit, hedge funds, real estate, and infrastructure.

He concentrates on portfolio valuations of General Partner (GP) and Limited Partner (LP) interests. Industries of focus include healthcare, energy, technology, media and telecommunications, infrastructure, and GP stakes.

Mr. Losito also has experience in valuing high-net-worth individuals, project management and strategic consulting, fairness opinions, and advanced financial modeling within the consulting and private equity space.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Losito spent more than three years at Blackstone (BX) performing valuations of private BX investments in its core Private Equity and Tactical Opportunities funds for investor reporting purposes. The investments, both growth and value oriented, covered a range of geographies, asset classes, and sectors. The investors mainly comprised large institutional investors, including pension funds, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds.

Before Blackstone, Mr. Losito spent two years at GE Capital in its rotational Financial Management Program (FMP), designed to develop financial leaders through work experience, coursework, and financial examinations. His GE Capital business segment rotations occurred in Energy Financial Services, Aviation Financial Services, and Synchrony Financial.
