Caleb Sturm is a director in BRG’s Global Construction practice, based in Atlanta.

He is engaged regularly regarding matters of schedule delay and work disruption, studies in resource productivity, quantum of monetary damages, claim formulation and review, cost auditing, risk management, and project administration procedures. He has performed forensic analyses on claims of up to $350 million and is experienced in providing written and verbal testimony.

Mr. Sturm also consults with parties in the planning, programming, control, and mitigation of project risk. His experience in prospective and forensic capacities allows him to uniquely anticipate risks and opportunities before and during each stage of the project life cycle. Mr. Sturm has advanced knowledge in the development of best practices and procedures during the active management of multiyear capital projects.

Mr. Sturm accumulated approximately twenty years of experience in the construction industry through employment in both contractor and owner capacities. He performed project management, contract administration, critical path method (CPM) scheduling, cost controls, change management, claim development and reviews, and risk mitigation for multiyear capital projects. Mr. Sturm has project experience within the United States, Latin America, South America, the United Kingdom, and other locations.

Mr. Sturm holds a master’s degree in construction management and a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting. He has been recognized as a Planning & Scheduling Professional, a Certified Cost Professional, and a Certified Construction Auditor. Mr. Sturm is the Southeast regional director for the North American Chapter of the Society of Construction Law and an active member of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering, National Association of Construction Auditors, Associated General Contractors of America, and Institute for Energy Law.
