Bob Duffy specializes in performance improvement, restructuring, and interim management.

Mr. Duffy has more than thirty-five years of experience, including more than thirty serving as an advisor to private equity firms, corporations, lenders, hedge funds, and boards of directors of underperforming businesses and companies in transition. He frequently serves as chief restructuring officer and chief operating officer for many of his clients.

Mr. Duffy has substantial experience in a number of industries as a result of leading successful engagements in both the United States and throughout the world. In these roles, he has led project teams on more than one hundred engagements to help clients revitalize operations, implement operational improvements, and reposition businesses for future growth. The assignments Mr. Duffy has led have included both public and private companies ranging in size from $100 million to more than $15 billion in annual revenue.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Duffy was the Global Practice Leader of FTI Consulting Corporate Finance, leader of FTI’s Retail and Consumer Industry practice, and a member of the firm’s executive committee. Mr. Duffy joined FTI following its acquisition of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ (PwC) Business Recovery Services group. During his fourteen years at PwC, he held key roles in the turnaround and restructuring of companies in many different industries around the globe.
