Intelligence That Works

BRG has announced the arrival of Aiden Lo as an associate director in the firm’s Hong Kong office. He joins BRG’s Antitrust & Competition practice, marking the latest addition to the firm’s competition offering in the AsiaPacific (APAC) region.

Mr. Lo is an economist with more than a decade of experience in competition economics, specialising in merger control and behavioural matters. He has advised on a range of complex and highstakes multijurisdictional transactions before competition authorities across APAC, the US and the European Union. His work in behavioural matters spans both price and nonprice conduct across industries from digital platforms and financial services to semiconductors and pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Lo previously was a senior economist at another consulting firm and has been based in Hong Kong, Singapore and London during his career. He will work closely with Dennis Beling, who leads BRG’s Antitrust & Competition practice in APAC, and Associate Director Dorcas Kwan.

Mr. Beling said, “We are delighted to welcome Aiden to BRG’s growing Antitrust & Competition practice. His extensive experience advising on complex mergers, Chinese fluency and deep understanding of the regional landscape will be critical assets as we continue to support clients navigating competition issues and expand our presence in the APAC region and globally”.

Mustafa Hadi, BRG’s regional lead in APAC, added, “I look forward to working alongside Aiden. His global experience and technical skills will be valuable as we continue to strengthen our economics, disputes and investigations services”.
