BRG Continues Global Expansion with Launch of Business Insurance Claims Practice in EMEA

BRG has announced the appointment of Richard Cameron-Williams as Head of Business Insurance Claims (BIC), EMEA, marking the launch of the firm’s BIC practice outside of the United States. The appointment marks another key milestone in BRG’s ongoing growth and expansion across Europe.

Cameron-Williams is a forensic accounting expert with over 20 years’ experience spanning Europe, the Middle East and the United States, most recently as forensics partner at a professional services firm based in the UK. He specialises in the review and measurement of financial losses for insurance and legal clients globally, with particular expertise in preparing and handling complex business interruption claims for policyholders across the full spectrum of industries. He also brings litigation experience, having acted as an independent accounting expert on cases involving loss of profits, breach of contract, public procurement disputes, business valuations and fraud investigations.

The practice launch is a first expansion of the firm’s BIC business beyond the United States, where the practice employs over 50 professionals experienced in quantifying losses in insurance contexts. The move is part of BRG’s ongoing growth strategy and expansion and the latest step in ambitious plans to grow the BIC offering globally, which should generate strong synergies with the firm’s existing business in economic consulting, disputes and investigations.
