Relativity Names Richard Finkelman a 2024 AI Visionary

Global legal technology company Relativity has named BRG Managing Director Richard Finkelman as an AI Visionary. Relativity’s annual list of AI Visionaries recognizes and celebrates changemakers who are reshaping the legal landscape through artificial intelligence. 

Mr. Finkelman’s market-leading practice deploys artificial intelligence (AI) technologies that help legal teams with important aspects of litigation. His practice has been building AI models that predict document characteristics, such as the likelihood that a document is privileged, for six years. His practice is currently building generative AI technologies that align with litigation activities including electronically stored information (ESI) agreements and expert witness systems. 

Mr. Finkelman is a nationally recognized technology expert who has more than thirty years of experience helping clients manage information and technology in litigation, compliance, and business. He launched a survey on the use of AI and machine learning in discovery and document review in 2023. The second-annual AIML survey is currently accepting responses. 

Last fall Mr. Finkelman won the AI Award at the Relativity Fest Innovation Awards, which celebrated visionaries in technology who are transforming industries and making an impact by pioneering advanced custom solutions, empowering clients, and forging new paths to improve the legal industry and its communities.
