BRG Appoints Valuation and Disputes Specialist to Expanding Global Practice

BRG announces the appointment of David Rogers to the firm’s disputes practice. Mr. Rogers specialises in the valuation of businesses, shares, and intangible assets, and in the quantification of complex damages, such as those arising in post-acquisition, shareholder, contract, and matrimonial disputes. He is based in BRG’s London office and works on engagements across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Asia–Pacific (APAC), and beyond.

Mr. Rogers has over twenty years’ experience of valuation and disputes engagements and has acted on matters in the High Court of England & Wales, the Family Court, the UK First Tier Tax Tribunal, and arbitrations convened under the rules of ICC, ICSID, LCIA, and other arbitral institutions. He also has acted in mediations and prepared expert determinations.

Mr. Rogers is recognised as a leading expert witness in the Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration guides for 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, and in its Litigation guide.

Mr. Rogers is a chartered accountant and holds a BSc (Class I) in economics from the University of Warwick. He also is a member of the valuation group advisory board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He regularly presents on valuation and damages matters and has authored several articles, as well as a chapter in Global Arbitration Review’s Guide to Damages in International Arbitration.
