Research Group Aims to Fix the Way the World Collaborates on Technology

Science | Business profiled the BRG Institute’s Global Innovation and National Interests project and working group in advocating for targeted follow-on implementation by the G7 heads of state in 2022 from the Research Compact on international research and development (R&D) collaboration the G7 issued at its 2021 summit.

Members of the BRG Institute working group had called for an overhaul of cross-border and cross-sector agreements among the advanced democracies to enhance collaboration in R&D significantly on emerging and pre-competitive technologies in areas such as rising sea levels, 6G wireless networks, and digital epidemiology.
