Building on the findings of BRG’s report The Psychological Impact of Remote Hearings, BRG and ThoughtLeaders4Disputes (TL4 Disputes) brought together lawyers, expert witnesses, arbitrators, investigators, and legal psychologists to discuss experiences of remote hearings during the COVID pandemic; unpick the deeper ways that such settings might affect behavior and even outcomes; and give perspectives on what the future may bring for face-to-face, virtual, and hybrid forums and whether formal guidelines may be necessary or likely.
