Georgetown International Arbitration Month 2023

Alayna Tria spoke on the panel “The Energy Charter Treaty (ECT): Modernization and Withdrawal” as part of Georgetown International Arbitration Society’s (GIAS) International Arbitration Month. She discussed the ECT and implications on quantum calculations and country risk factors.

The Arbitration Month, GIAS’ most prominent and flagship annual event, now in its eleventh edition, is one of the country’s premier international arbitration conferences. It brings together arbitrators, scholars, practitioners, experts, third-party funders, arbitration institutions, in-house counsels, and students from all over the world for an annual discussion on the challenges that drive the international arbitration community.
