Deborah Garza (Rule Garza Howley) moderated the discussion, during which Dr. Rosa M. Abrantes-Metz (BRG) presented an economist’s perspective alongside Maureen Ohlhausen (Baker Botts). They discussed the use of pricing algorithms to make pricing recommendations and how the common use of algorithms may raise competition concerns and result in price fixing or tacit collusion.
