Antitrust Issues in Platform Economics

Dr. Hassan Faghani will present on a District of Columbia Bar webinar and CLE program that will cover core concepts in platform economics—the economic dynamics and principles that govern platforms, which are digital or physical infrastructures that facilitate the exchange of goods, services, or information among different groups. He will provide an expert’s perspective while presenting with Dennis P. Cuevas (D.C. Bar) . The class will also address concepts of platform competition and related antitrust issues, including:

• Competition issues in platforms and how competition affects incentive on different sides of a platform
