John Kelliher has 20 years of healthcare policy experience, including four years as chief counsel of the Committee on Ways and Means of the U.S. House of Representatives. During his tenure at the committee, he participated in the drafting and enactment of the Medicare prescription drug benefit. He was also involved with the drafting and enactment of major tax legislation in 2001 and 2003. Mr. Kelliher served as a congressional staff member for nine years and has since worked for 10 years as a healthcare policy consultant. He has deep transactional diligence expertise, having advised institutional investors on more than 1,000 acquisitions in the healthcare sector.
Mr. Kelliher also served as an active-duty Army office for four years.
