His areas of expertise include energy asset valuation, damages analysis, international arbitration, project financing, power and gas market fundamentals, power market modeling, North America gas market modeling, stochastic (Monte Carlo) analysis of energy prices/real options, due diligence, financial modeling, derivative valuation, credit risk analysis, corporate finance, and economic evaluation.
As an energy, valuation, and modeling expert, Mr. Li has been engaged with numerous arbitrations and investment advisory projects for major US and international clients involving a broad range of energy assets, including liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionation plants, natural gas storage facilities, gathering and processing pipelines, natural gas pipelines, transmission lines, merchant power plants, and renewable energy assets (wind and solar).
