Tara Soileau

Director

Tara Soileau delivers analytics-enabled diligence for M&A transactions across manufacturing, industrials, construction, technology, and related sectors.

Tara Soileau is a director in BRG’s Transaction Advisory practice, where she leads the firm’s Transaction Data & Analytics capability. A former chief financial officer (CFO) and controller, she brings a dual perspective as both finance operator and advisor. She has over seventeen years of experience spanning corporate financial leadership and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory.

Ms. Soileau specializes in data and analytics–enabled financial due diligence on both buy- and sell-side transactions and enhances traditional diligence approaches with deep, actionable insights derived from complex datasets. Her work focuses on informing investment theses, identifying transaction risks, uncovering value-creation opportunities, and accelerating post-deal integration and value-capture timelines.

Ms. Soileau has extensive experience across manufacturing, industrials, construction, technology, and other key industries. Her representative engagements include quantifying performance for a $1 billion spice and condiments manufacturer at granular customer, product, plant, and regional levels; advising a $500 million utilities subgrade infrastructure construction company in a sell-side process using a dynamic, contract-level data cube; identifying $36 million in cost-reduction opportunities for an auto service club; and modeling product-level pricing and margins for a thermoform plastics manufacturer, resulting in $40 million of incremental transaction value.
