Mengwei Lin, PhD, applies empirical analysis and econometric modeling to address complex economic questions in antitrust litigation. She works with expert economists, attorneys, and clients to evaluate evidence, test economic theories, and develop clear, data-driven insights that inform litigation strategy and decision-making. Her work centers on turning large, complex datasets into reliable economic evidence. She uses advanced statistical methods and analytical tools to identify meaningful patterns, evaluate competing explanations, and deliver insights that help legal teams and clients assess key issues and make informed decisions.
Dr. Lin holds a PhD in applied economics and management from Cornell University, where she taught and facilitated PhD, MBA, and undergraduate courses in causal inference and structural econometric modeling. Her research has been released through the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) Working Papers series and featured in The Boston Globe, ProMarket, Cornell Chronicle, and The FinReg Blog.
Dr. Lin has received research and teaching awards including Cornell’s George F. Warren Award and the Chinese Economists Society’s Gregory Chow Rising Star Award.
