John Colley has spent forty years actively engaged in the construction industry.

He has progressed from basic functional levels of the business through executive management and ownership roles, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the industry. Mr. Colley also holds a BSEE and an MBA, providing him with a strong technical background to supplement his hands-on experience.

Mr. Colley has been involved in a broad range of construction projects, ranging from small and service-oriented projects to complex mega projects in excess of $4 billion. He has worked in most sectors of the industry, including healthcare, automotive, research and development, data centers, commercial, institutional, governmental, entertainment, transportation, and waste and water treatment. He has performed work under differing procurement scenarios, including cost-plus a fee, negotiated, design–build, design–assist, and lump-sum.

Mr. Colley has experience domestically across the United States and internationally, having worked in Shanghai, China, and Dubai, UAE.

Throughout his career, Mr. Colley has performed work for substantial owners, including multinational technology, oil, automotive manufacturing, and automobile companies and conglomerates, and a Fortune 100 company. He has worked for higher education and healthcare spaces, including the University of Michigan, Texas A&M, University of Texas, Soka University, Wayne State University, and several hospitals and health systems. Mr. Colley has worked with airports and airlines around the country. He also worked in the governmental sector with the US Coast Guard and the US Navy.
