Dan Bechtel

Dan Bechtel is a director in BRG’s Corporate Finance practice and specializes in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), finance transformation, and transaction support. He advises sponsors and management teams on performance improvement, reporting enhancement, and data-driven decision-making to support growth, operational efficiency, and strategic transactions.

Mr. Bechtel has led cost optimization initiatives, built long-range financial plans, and supported complex transaction processes, including liability management and lender diligence. He has worked across engagements spanning operational diligence, performance improvement, and finance function diagnostics, helping organizations enhance reporting capabilities, improve visibility into business performance, and identify opportunities to drive sustainable results. He brings deep finance and operations expertise to private equity-backed portfolio companies, particularly in healthcare services.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Bechtel led buildout of finance and analytics functions at a management services organization (MSO) startup, Mangrove Management Partners. Previously, as a manager at PwC, he led engagements across transaction advisory, financial due diligence, and audit.
