Chris Ring has worked in economic consulting since 2008.
His roles in consulting engagements primarily include leading teams in performing market analyses and economic research, independently performing economic analyses, and writing and editing testimony. He typically works on matters involving antitrust issues or other analysis of markets, and he has studied a wide variety of industries, including high-tech platforms, healthcare, and auto parts. He also has significant experience in energy industry engagements, including disputes involving crude oil, refined products, electricity, and the transportation of these products.
Mr. Ring was previously a managing director at a global expert services and advisory firm and also provided expert support services at two additional consultancy firms. He is active in the American Bar Association and serves as a member of the Young Lawyers Task Force in the ABA’s Antitrust Law Section. He holds an MS in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in commerce from the University of Virginia.
