Barbara Vanich is a CPA with over thirty years of professional experience in accounting and auditing.

Barbara Vanich is a managing director in BRG’s Financial Institution Advisory practice. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over thirty years of professional experience in accounting and auditing. She has experience with large and small financial institutions, asset managers, funds, and custody operations.

Before joining BRG, Ms. Vanich was the chief auditor and director of Professional Standards at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), where she developed auditing standards and related guidance and advised the board and divisions on matters related to the application of PCAOB standards.

Ms. Vanich previously worked as a consultant assisting clients with the adoption of new accounting standards, developing accounting policies, and addressing restatements. She worked in accounting policy at a large investment bank after a Big Four accounting firm, serving a variety of financial services clients in both audit and advisory capacities.
