Dr. Aylar Pour Mohammad consults on complex litigation involving the evaluation and quantification of economic harm to consumers.

Dr. Aylar Pour Mohammad is a senior managing economist at BRG. She focuses on understanding how consumers perceive information, make decisions, and respond to marketplace practices; and on evaluating the resulting economic effects. She applies empirical research methods including surveys, experiments, conjoint analysis, and content analysis.

Dr. Pour Mohammad has extensive experience in matters involving false advertising, product liability, intellectual property, antitrust, data privacy, and consumer protection. She examines advertising claims, disclosures, product attributes, and market dynamics across a range of industries, including consumer products, technology, financial services, healthcare, hospitality, and online platforms.

Dr. Pour Mohammad has published peer-reviewed research on consumer behavior and marketing and is a coauthor of a chapter on conjoint analysis in litigation in The Cambridge Handbook of Marketing and the Law.
