Austin Hay is a Director in BRG’s Healthcare Practice and is based out of Washington, DC. His work is focused on disputes and investigations involving government pricing, government or commercial reimbursement and rebates, contract disputes, and other issues arising in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. He provides his clients with complex data analytics and industry expertise often in the context of the False Claims Act (FCA), the Anti‑Kickback Statute (AKS), complex commercial disputes, or government investigations.

Austin has deep expertise in government price reporting and rebate economics. He frequently conducts analyses involving re-calculations of reported prices (AMP, ASP, Best Price), and/or rebates and reimbursement through Medicaid, Medicare, Department of Veterans Affairs, and other government and commercial channels. He builds defensible models integrating large, nuanced, disparate data and complex regulatory frameworks to support damages calculations, expert opinions, settlement positioning, and financial forecasting.
