Austin Hay is an associate director in BRG’s Washington, DC office.

He provides consulting services and data-driven insights to pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, Medicare Advantage (MA) plans, and their counsel. This work spans both litigation matters, including supporting testifying experts, and business advisory and involves quantitative and qualitative analyses.

Mr. Hay develops models that combine disparate, complex data to inform litigation strategy or settlement discussions, support an expert opinion, or provide guidance to clients. His life sciences clients often are responding to federal or state inquiries, many involving the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute. He specializes on disputes or investigations that require an analysis of government reimbursements and rebates related to Medicaid, Medicare, or the Department of Veterans Affairs. He also has experience in the MA space and a detailed understanding of the risk adjustment process.
