The class actions landscape is undergoing rapid change, and digital markets are likely to be the next battleground for enforcement through collective actions. Recent developments have included the introduction of the Digital Markets Act and the Digital Services Act in the European Union; the launch of investigations and complaints against digital platforms in the EU and UK; and the recent filing of parallel private enforcement actions.
