Rebecca A. Altman

Managing Director


Rebecca Altman has over 16 years of experience in healthcare management, corporate management, and business development. She focuses on population health strategies and policy, and payment reform strategies including bundling and pay-for-performance strategies for physician practices. She has developed population health strategies for community hospitals, academic medical centers, publicly traded hospital groups, and at institutions internationally, including in Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Through her practice, she has developed population health models that incorporate financial sustainability and scalability, while focusing on clinical strategies. 

Ms. Altman previously served as a director at Johns Hopkins Medicine International. Her experience included the recoupment of $3 million in aging accounts receivables through process improvements and securing a ten-year contract in India to assist a client in establishing a chain of primary care clinics through provision of clinical knowledge. As a managing director at Johns Hopkins, she led teams in Baltimore and Kuwait for a five-year, multimillion-dollar contract, working with faculty in Baltimore to provide contract deliverables to the Kuwaiti government. She also has extensive business development experience, having negotiated a two-year contract between Johns Hopkins Armstrong Institute and SEHA-Abu Dhabi Health Services Company for a new patient safety program. 

Ms. Altman began her career as an RN in the ICU at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. After graduation from Franklin and Marshall, she worked with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in Washington, DC, as a management analyst for the office of the CEO. She obtained her MBA from George Washington University with concentrations in finance and international business. 

Ms. Altman has served as coauthor on a number of publications and is an adjunct professor for George Washington University, instructing students in the executive MBA program on health policy.
