Matthew Thompson has led healthcare system projects for major clients and has been recognized for his ability to deliver complex multimillion-dollar operational improvement projects and develop accountable care organizations (ACOs) and clinically integrated networks within strict time frames and budgets. He has led and developed project development teams that have contributed to corporate growth and increased year-over-year revenues. He has also led initiatives and developed techniques and processes to deliver optimal staff performance and present professional environments focused on client experiences.

Mr. Thompson has been recognized as a subject-matter expert leading perioperative systems and procedure-level departments, including cardiac cath lab, radiology, and emergency department; creating policies and procedures; and delivering training programs for healthcare professionals and performance management. He has worked with internal leaders, client executives, physicians, administrators, nurses, and staff. 

Mr. Thompson is adept at leveraging business and operational expertise with leadership. He has helped implement policies and procedures to maximize care and enhance organizational objectives and operational efficiency.

Mr. Thompson works to build and foster relationships across all levels of an organization and navigate a collaborative culture and organizational dynamics, while translating strategies into tangible results. He has experience with consultative collaborations and building trust through understanding detailed client expectations. He provides a mission-driven approach to service delivery that values a diverse patient and staff population.

Mr. Thompson’s expertise includes developing, implementing, and managing performance programs, ACOs, physician strategies, hospital operations, risks and rewards, and 340B drug discount programs; improving revenue stream; and managing complex, multi-layered projects, strategic business analysis, research and metrics, cost visibility and awareness, and care delivering programs.
