Karl G. Bartscht, Jr. has been involved in healthcare management for over twenty-five years.

Mr. Bartscht has developed, owned, and managed skilled home care/hospice agencies, outpatient rehab clinics, and assisted-living service companies. He has been a licensed nursing home administrator in Michigan and Ohio, as well as a licensed adult foster care community administrator. He has been successful in bringing facilities up to par with regulatory compliance and in doing so has turned around underperforming communities/facilities. He has obtained certification of both Medicare and Medicaid for skilled nursing homes.

Mr. Bartscht has identified new and enhanced existing programs and services for more than 20 healthcare providers, including medically complex, sub-acute rehabilitation, ventilator, and dementia units for nursing facilities.

As an owner and operator, he has created a home healthcare agency certified by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). He has developed outpatient rehabilitation clinical services and assisted-living services. Within independent senior communities, he has identified and implemented fully integrated programming through preferred provider ancillary services.

Mr. Bartscht has extensive experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement; all aspects of operations; and JCAHO and program development within skilled nursing facilities, assisted-living communities, home care agencies, and physical rehabilitation clinics.
