John Baxter has over fifteen years of experience in heavy civil and building construction, including projects such as multi-interchange highway projects, oil and gas civil projects in Alberta and British Columbia, infrastructure construction projects in remote northern Canada, and urban city specialized building projects such as hospitals and data centres. He has expertise in project management areas including project costing and analysis, estimating, scheduling, and design development.
Mr. Baxter has created costing models for analysis and forecasting of costs ranging from $1.1 billion oil and gas projects to $65 million roadway infrastructure projects. He has also created models used to analyze large and varied data sets as part of expert testimony related to a construction matter. He has testified as a damages expert, scheduling expert, and fact witness in arbitrations.
